Poles are in no shape to handle additional fiber, particularly if requiring additional space on the poles (as opposed to an incumbent on the pole who could ovberlash on existing plant). This area is part of the Underground Project and rightfully so. However, it blocks the main route to Town Hall and the Fire Station.

Town Hall

This location is well suited to becoming the major node for the North Andover Infrastructure Project. Not only does it serve the main town departments, is located next to the Fire Department but it has a well appointed computer room with good HVAC and access to an emergency generator.

It appears that an approach from the rear of the Town Hall building would be possible. There is an existing pole line that is in good shape with space for other occupants. It also appears that a conduit exists from the pole line to the Town Hall Senior Citizens Center. If space must be maintained for future emergency services, an multichannel innerduct should be installed.
